Coastal Nature Camp FAQ

What ages is camp designed for?
Coastal Nature Camp is designed for children ages 5–10.
Activities are tailored to be engaging, creative, and developmentally appropriate for this age group.

What are the camp hours?
Half Day Camp
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Full Day Camp
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Where is drop-off and pick-up?
Drop-off:
Annie’s Canyon Trailhead at 9:00 AM.
Pick-up:
Grange Garden on Cedros at either 12:00 PM (half day) or 3:00 PM (full day).
Detailed directions will be provided after registration.

What will campers do during the day?
Campers enjoy a mix of outdoor adventure, creativity, and gentle animal interaction including:
• exploring Annie’s Canyon
• beach discovery at Seaside
• arts and crafts projects
• nature journaling and creative play
• bunny interaction and care lessons
• afternoon creativity at Fletcher Cove
• Lemonade Garden Hour in the bunny garden

What should my child bring?
Please pack:
• backpack
• water bottle
• sunscreen
• hat
• beach towel
• comfortable walking shoes
Full-day campers should bring a lunch unless purchasing the optional hot lunch add-on.

Is lunch provided?
Campers may bring a sack lunch, or families may purchase the optional hot lunch add-on from the Grange Garden café.

What is the camper-to-counselor ratio?
Coastal Nature Camp maintains small groups of approximately 10–12 campers with two counselors to ensure safety and personalized attention.
