You May Have Seen Them on Social Media!

With over 1.3 Million views on TikTok (in 4 days!) our bunny family of five has become quite popular!

However, our bunnies are not part of any “bunny cafe” or available for adoption. Our owner simply brings her own bunnies to work. In a sense, we are a café that happens to have…bunnies. Luckily for you, we love to share! ♡

Our Bunnies Are Well-Traveled!

Our owner used to take her bunny family everywhere. Naturally, when she opened Grange Garden in the fall of 2021, she wanted to take them to work… (She also brings her beloved Australian Shepherd, “Lucy” to work with her!)

Why, Might You Ask?

Because she can! It has always been her dream to create a business where our owner could have her pets with her everyday. The alternative, to leave her pets at home alone all day while she was at the shop, was not an option.

Grange Garden is a peaceful, beautiful, zen space where the community can order a coffee, pick up a gift, and stay awhile. Or upon request, partake in a little bunny snuggling. Oh that serotonin! 𐀔

With the Exposure, Comes the Demand

We’re a “not-so-secret” Garden now! Once the word got out, it definitely became a bitter-sweet moment for us (we had only one barista when it happened!) Although we were nowhere near prepared for the overnight sensation that our bunnies became, we are so grateful! Especially for the outpour of love and support we have received from the world. Yep, people have come from all over the world to visit us! The hardest part has been trying to navigate just “how” to share our bunnies with the world, in a safe and regulated way.

At Grange Garden, our bun buns’ care is of utmost importance to all of us and we take every precaution to ensure that they are living their best life. For example, our buns are all vaccinated and are never caged. They go home every night where they are loved, cuddled and allowed to free roam. They’re on a diet of mostly Timothy Hay, and fed organic leafy greens and veggies. They also have tons of chew toys!

We have hired extra staff and have rules in place to ensure the safety of our bun buns. We talk to each and every guest about our rules before allowing entry into the enclosure. This includes, how to hold a bunny on your lap (no picking up off the ground!). When time permits, we also educate guests about bunnies in general, and encourage people to think and research before deciding to bring a bunny home. And to always adopt rather than purchase – if possible.

Growing pains

We’ve all experienced them. They can be painful at times. But in the end, we GROW! And we continue to grow and improve everyday.

We take great pride in just how far we’ve come in such a short time. We are especially grateful to those who are patient, and kind. To those individuals who can understand what a wild ride it has been for us, we appreciate you!

With that, we are happy to host you and allow you to share in our house-made serotonin!

A Few Things to Keep in Mind :

We accept walk-in visits on a limited, first-come basis. Please note, we do not accept walk-ins over the phone.

Pro Tip?

Is the wait too long? Try a walk-in visit Monday through Friday during the school year! It’s usually quite peaceful, and if no one is waiting you can stay as long as you like!

FAQ

Are reservations required?

No! We do not require reservations. We accept walk-ins or reservations. Reservations take precedence over the walk-in waitlist and are recommended at busier times.

Are the bunnies there everyday?

Yes! The bunnies live just up the street and enjoy coming to the shop everyday from 8am-5pm. (weather permitting)

Do the bunnies run around the shop?

No, our bunnies have a 10×10 outdoor, covered enclosure that is padded with layer after layer of fresh Timothy Hay.

Are the bunnies available for adoption?

Sadly, no. The bunnies are our owner’s personal pets. If you plan to adopt a bunny please consider contacting us about our “Bunny Rehoming Project.” We get new bunnies just about every week! To date, we have successfully “re-homed” over 30 bunnies!

Please be aware that bunnies can have a life span of 10-15 years and require a lot of work. Please do your own research on owning bunnies before reaching out.

Please check out our Instagram profile for a list of available bunnies in search of a forever home : (@grange.garden) (#bunnyrehomingproject) or Email info@grangegarden.com for more details

Can I donate my bunny to you?

Yes! We provide off-site, rehoming of bunnies who aren’t living their best life. Once we find a potential home for your bunny, we arrange a safe, in-person meet and greet over coffee at Grange Garden!

Are there restrooms on-site?

We have an off-site restroom available for our customers. We share it with a neighboring business and ask that all customers use the deadbolt and kindly return our key.

Do the bunnies live at Grange Garden?

No. Our owner takes her bunnies home every night where they have dinner and roam free indoors.

What do you do with the bunnies when it gets hot or cold?

Bunnies love the cold! But heat is a big threat to all bunnies as they can easily die from heatstroke. We keep our pens covered with shade providing umbrellas at all times. When the temperature is above *68 degrees, each bun is given a frozen water bottle to keep them cool. The bunnies are removed from the outdoors any time the temperature reaches 78* degrees. In extreme weather (rain storms) we keep our buns indoors at home to free roam where they are safe and sound.

Are we allowed to take the bunnies out of the pens?

Yes! But only with assistance from one of our staff members. Although at times, we may be too busy to accommodate this.

Can my toddler go into the pen alone?

Unfortunately, no. Toddlers 4 and under are allowed into the enclosure on a case-by-case basis. Then, with a paid, supervising adult at all times. Rowdy or unsupervised children will be asked to leave. We ask that small children do not try to pick up, chase, or make loud noises around the bunnies. The best way to visit our bunnies is by sitting on the ground with them and let them come to you.

Are dogs allowed at Grange Garden?

Yes, our friendly, furry companions are always welcome! We kindly ask that aggressive animals are kept at home. For the protection of our bunnies – at no time, may dogs be within 4 feet of our bunny enclosure. Retractable leashes are not allowed at Grange Garden.

Is there anywhere to eat nearby?

Yes! We offer delicious, light bites at our Garden Coffee Bar! There are also a great selection of restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance.
