You May Have Seen Them on Social Media
In 2023, our family of five bunnies garnered over 1.3 million views on TikTok in just four days, making them a pretty popular group!
It’s important to note that our bunnies are not part of a “bunny café” and are not available for adoption. The owner of Grange Garden simply brings them to work. We are essentially a café that happens to have therapy bunnies. Fortunately, we enjoy sharing the joy they bring!
Our Bunnies Are Well-Traveled
The founder of Grange Garden used to take her pet bunnies everywhere. Naturally, when she opened up shop in the fall of 2021, she wanted to take them to work… (She also brings her beloved Australian Shepherd, “Lucy,” to work with her!)
Why, Might You Ask?
Because she can! The goal was always to build a business that would allow her to bring her pets with her every day. Leaving her pets at home alone all day while she worked was not an option.
Grange Garden offers a calm, beautiful, and serene environment where the community can enjoy a coffee, select a gift, and unwind. Additionally, upon request, visitors can enjoy some bunny cuddling.
With the Exposure Comes the Demand
Grange Garden is no longer a secret. When the news got out, it was both overwhelming and heartwarming for us. We only had one barista at the time, so we weren’t prepared for the sudden popularity. However, we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we have received from all over the world, from various places that have visited us. The challenging part has been figuring out how to safely and responsibly share our bunnies with the world.
At Grange Garden, the well-being of our bunnies is our top priority. We take every possible measure to ensure they live happy and healthy lives. For instance, all our rabbits are vaccinated and never kept in cages. They are brought home every night to be loved, cuddled, and given the freedom to roam. Their diet mainly consists of Timothy Hay, which we source from a local nonprofit, along with organic leafy greens and vegetables straight from the farm at Sage Hill Ranch Gardens. We also provide them with plenty of chew toys for entertainment.
We’ve hired additional staff and established rules to ensure our bunnies’ safety. Before entering the enclosure, we explain the rules, including how to handle a bunny. When time permits, we also educate guests about bunnies and encourage them to think and research before getting one as a pet. We strongly advocate for adoption over purchasing.
Growing pains…
We’ve all experienced them. They can be painful at times. But in the end, we grow! And we continue to grow and improve every day.
We take great pride in just how far we’ve come in such a short time. We are especially grateful to those who are patient and kind. To those individuals who can understand what a wild ride it has been for us, we appreciate you.
With that, we are happy to host you and share our homemade serotonin with you.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind :
Reservations are not required to visit our bunnies. We accept walk-in visits on a limited, first-come basis. Please note that we do not accept walk-ins over the phone.
Pro Tip?
Is the wait too long? Try a walk-in visit Monday through Friday during the school year! It’s usually quite peaceful, and if no one is waiting, you can stay as long as you like.
Bunny Visiting Rules :
𐀔 We ask that guests sanitize their hands before touching a bunny.
𐀔 Dogs are not allowed within 4 feet of the bunny enclosure.
𐀔 Up to 4 guests may go into the enclosure at a time.
𐀔 If there is a long wait, we may allow 2 groups of 2 in the enclosures at the same time.
𐀔 We may limit visits to 10 minutes so that everyone gets a turn – some guests travel from far away.
𐀔 Please pet the bunnies very gently and do not chase.
𐀔 Please do not try to pick the bunnies up off the ground.
𐀔 Bunnies love their head and back being gently pet. They also love to be brushed.
𐀔 Bunnies do not like their tummy or feet being touched.
𐀔 Please do not “feed” the bunnies. You may be given a sprig of cilantro or parsley. Please sit on the bun buns level. If they’re hungry, they might climb into your lap for it.
𐀔 Please use quiet voices around the bunnies and kindly console upset babies outside of the shop.
𐀔 Our bunnies are the most active in the mornings and evenings. They typically nap between 12 pm and 2 pm.
𐀔 We ask that children under 4 opt for a personalized “egg chair” visit (when time and staffing permit).
𐀔 Due to fire codes, we do not allow large strollers inside the shop – we offer stroller parking in our parking lot.
We do accept Reservations. (For longer visits only).
Fees :
We have a per-person fee in place to allow you to visit, photograph, and snuggle our bunnies. If you plan to post pictures on the internet, the fee also grants you use and copyright ownership for any photographs you take of our bunnies. The higher fees are for reservations and enable us to hold the enclosure, accommodating guests who do not wish to wait in line.
Walk-ins :
$12/pp : (may be limited to 10 mins when others are waiting).
Reservations :
$15/pp : 20 mins
$20/pp : 30 mins

FAQ
Do you accept donations?
No. We do not accept cash donations. Grange Garden is not affiliated with any nonprofit organizations. We are a for-profit business.
However, our staff sincerely appreciates any tips we receive. Please note that cash left at our place of business will be considered a tip and will be distributed to our employees.
If you want to support us, we suggest sponsoring one of our bunnies. It’s not only a rewarding experience, but it also makes the perfect gift, and the funds help support our bunny rehoming project.
Are reservations required?
No. We do not require reservations. We accept walk-ins or reservations. Reservations take precedence over the walk-in waitlist and are recommended at busier times.
Are the bunnies there every day?
Yes. While some bunnies like to take the day off, there are bunnies at the shop every day between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm. (weather permitting)
Do the bunnies run around the shop?
No. Our bunnies have three different enclosures, each measuring 10×10, totaling 30 square feet, and padded with layer after layer of fresh Timothy Hay that we purchase from a local nonprofit.
Are the bunnies available for adoption?
No. The bunnies are our owner’s personal pets. If you plan to adopt a bunny, please consider contacting us about our “Bunny Rehoming Project.” We receive new inquiries about bunnies in need almost every week. To date, we have found forever homes for over 110 bunnies.
Please be aware that bunnies can have a lifespan of 10-15 years and require a significant amount of care. Please do your own research on owning bunnies before reaching out.
Please check out our Instagram profile for a list of available bunnies in search of a forever home : (@grange.garden) (#bunnyrehomingproject) or Email info@grangegarden.com for more details.
Can I donate my bunny to you?
Although we don’t typically take in bunnies, we offer a service that allows you to utilize our growing platform to help spread the word about your bunny, in hopes of finding a forever home. Once we find a potential home for your bunny, we arrange a safe, in-person meet-and-greet over coffee at Grange Garden.
Are there restrooms on-site?
We offer an off-site, wheelchair-accessible restroom for our customers. We share it with a neighboring business and kindly request that all customers use the deadbolt and return our key.
What do you do with the bunnies when it gets hot or cold?
Bunnies love the cold. However, heat poses a significant threat to all bunnies, as they can easily succumb to heatstroke. We provide plenty of shade and fresh water, and when the temperature rises above *68 degrees, each bun receives a frozen water bottle and a fan to keep them cool.
In 2025, we added A/C to our cottontail cottage, where we rotate the bunnies. The bunnies are moved indoors whenever the temperature reaches an uncomfortable level. During extreme weather, we keep our buns indoors at home, letting them roam freely where they are safe and sound.
Are we allowed to take the bunnies out of the pens?
Unfortunately, not at this time. Although at times, some of our attendants may bring bunnies out to greet guests, there are times when we may be too busy to accommodate this, though.
Can my toddler go into the pen alone?
Unfortunately, for the safety of our bunnies, children under four are not permitted in the enclosures. For children under four, we provide a personalized basket visit instead. Rowdy or unsupervised children will be asked to leave the shop.
Are dogs allowed at Grange Garden?
Yes, our friendly, furry companions are always welcome! We kindly request that you keep aggressive animals at home. For the protection of our bunnies, at no time may dogs be within 4 feet of our bunny enclosure. Retractable leashes are not allowed at Grange Garden.
Is there anywhere to eat nearby?
Yes. We offer delicious, French-inspired brunch bites and handmade pastries at our Garden Coffee Bar. There is also a great selection of restaurants within a 5-minute walking distance.
